Have we ever asked what the CDC did?
We grew up healthy, without marks in our faces, with strong bones and muscles that allowed us to play and run.
Since we were young and after we became adults, we practiced our favorite sports 8and we enjoyed attending popular sport tournaments, musical concerts and going to see amazing movies.
Generations of spectators, one after the other, bought tickets for these events and some of them became sport players, singers and movie stars. They became rich and famous.
Vaccines were produced, scientists spent their entire lives
researching epidemic events without the needed resources,
motivated only by their purpose to preserve human health,
and to avoid epidemic outbreaks and save lives.
Now, that a mysterious virus threats our health and human existence, would it be good
to turn and look toward the health sciences? And invest in the CDC,
and all the epidemiologic centers in the world, supporting all the scientists
who silently, without a bit of vanity, are working for the most important goal in the world:
to preserve the health and the life of the human species.
